Update README.md #11

This PR updates the README, adding proper links and also mentioning the purpose of the package. It removes a vesitigial last sentence that didn't seem to point to anything.

Yeah I don't have permission to add it (I am not admin anymore apparently), who can we ask to give us permission to access the settings? @Sbozzolo are you the owner of this repository?
