touchbar with kernel 6.2+ #1

hej, thanks for sharing your rebuild. I think of trying on my mbp 14,3 after a few years again and definitely would also go with pop_os. could you manage the touchbar under the newest kernels to work again or would I have to stick with the build's kernel version?

Hi! Sorry for the very late reply!

I haven't had the time to look at it yet, but yeah, if you update, the touchbar will be gone. I might upgrade my MBP to a Silicone based mac soon, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to update the support, but perhaps.

If you wanna try yourself, I have documented the process thoroughly in the README.md, hope it can be of use.

The most tricky thing was making the iso file, so perhaps the easiest would be and try just the part regarding getting the trackpad to work on an installation of my iso :)

If someone figures out a way to make the trackpad driver work across kernel updates, that would be amazing!

Wasn't aware it going offline. I had the files locally, so I've added all the external files needed to this repo.

Hope it is of use :)
