Moved from Scout to Balsamic!
@terestahl Could you please elaborate on "analysis of signatures". It will be helpful if tools and/or references are included as well.
When did I write this? in the context of balsamic analysis? Or what are your ideas for integrating tools in balsamic? Please let me know and then I can be more specific teresita

@terestahl This is an issue in BALSAMIC repository.
MSI (Microsatellite instability) for example is integrated in Sarek, you can probably find the reference in Sarek documentation MSI determination functions for WGS (not for WES) For the few pediatric samples that showed HIGH MSI it was in accordance to the findings from the MOLPAT lab
Regarding Signatures I was referring to cosmic signatures which I have succeeded in installing in our server and it is useful when one suspects mismatch repair defects @.*** It is also useful to calculate BRACness, but that I have not tried but I think there is a nature paper from 2017 with the documentation, I do not find it now
Al these are useful
Thanks
