This PR adds/fixes:

Pipefail when called with cronic

How to prepare for test:

[ ] ssh to hasta
[ ] install on stage: bash servers/resources/hasta.scilifelab.se/update-demux-stage.sh [THIS-BRANCH-NAME]

How to test:

[ ] do ...

Expected test outcome:
