It now does push notification delivery reports. Actual sms delivery reports will be much lower priority.
Well, I would love to have delivery reports. At least viewing them on the phone.. Normally they are switched on in my SMS-App, but DeskSMS, somehow sends them differently...
This would be really useful for me, having a problem where someone is not always receiving my messages and I don't know which ones they don't get. :/

"add the your network code to the beginning of your text message and once the SMS message has been delivered you will get a text"
This is not really userfriendly, but could be helpful if you need delivery report ;-)
I'd really like this too. I have some problems with messages via DeskSMS seeming not to be delivered if the signal drops out to my phone at the time I sent it.
I'd love this as well. Me and my gf seem to have some sms problem. Sms's don't arrive all the time so it would really help to know that a sent sms has been received. I just hate to type on my smartphone, I'd rather send it through DeskSMS!
:BUMP:
On my galaxy s3 mini there when I send an sms trough google talk service from web browser no delivery report is requested , could you please check again this and implement in application an option to request or not delivery message for sms send via DeskSMS. Thanks .
I would also love to have delivery reports visible on the sms app (not necessarily on gtalk). I will have a look later but I suspect this is a couple lines of code to ask for the delivery report when sending the sms.
edit: you just have to add a DeliveryIntent in the sendMultipartTextMessage, should take a couple minutes to implement and make a little bunch of people happy :)
Probably one for the low priority pile, but it would be nice to have either the option to enable SMS delivery reports or to look at whether they are enabled in the Messaging application and do the same (although that may be awkward especially when people use other messaging apps).
Great job though, probably the first solution for sending SMS from desktop via the actual phone that works properly!
