Update slides/curriculum for module1.html #131

This PR makes some minor copyediting changes in intro.md (missing commas, slight rewording, removal of references to a "web application," etc.) and also syncs up the slides in module1.html accordingly.

Also, there's like 24 commits here, so let me know if the changes are alright--as well as what adjustments to make--and I can squash everything before it all gets merged.

Also, for reference, this PR covers part of--but definitely not all of--https://github.com/ClojureBridge/curriculum/issues/90.

What you do with words is amazing, @kpfell. I am not opposed to squashing these commits, but I have no strong feelings about it. Feel free to merge when you have this however you want it.
