Show Hidden FIles not working in Snapshot 70 (OSX 10.9.5)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Select > File:Open and click the Show Hidden Files and not that there aren't 
any hidden files except for ._DS
OSX 10.9.5

Run code:
[code]defaults write org.vim.MacVim AppleShowAllFiles 1[/code]
and you can see all the hidden files that are being missed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See attached screenshots that show what was seen initially and what was shown 
after the [code]defaults write org.vim.MacVim AppleShowAllFiles 1[/code]

What version of MacVim and OS X are you using (see "MacVim->About MacVim"
and  "Apple Menu->About This Mac" menu items, e.g. "Snapshot 40, 10.5.6
Intel")?
