I'm confused because I don't recall having to do this to get Let's Encrypt working for Cloud-Gate. Is something broken? Or is this preventative?

Before this patch non tls 1.3 clients will break (was trying to test something with curl and noticed this issue).

Ah, right. I found problems using curl and Keymaster, I hadn't tried Cloud-Gate.
