I have finish remounting the switches. For the redundant power to router, as mentioned in the whatapps group, the media converter also requires power from the rack but is not inbuilt with redundant power capability.

Thanks! Colin said that it's standard practice for Starhub to provide the router and media converter with single feed.

As seen during the server installation, the router has a slot for a 2nd power supply. Colin is checking if the router Starhub can provide such an option. Unfortunately the media converter doesn't have this option.

@alexling92 I added 2 more TODOs. Can you check for me? Thanks!

  1. FM stated that the power source will be disabled in batches during maintenance.
  2. FM also state that we will be informed if there is any activities that will affect the DC.

“Us" as in InfoSoft staff or all tenants? Is there a mailing/distribution list? I feel more at ease if our emails are added in the mailing list.

I am unsure about "Us" too because he just gave a simple reply. I will get back to you once I have found out more information.

FM stated that each DC has their own POC, therefore we need to find out who is our POC and ask him to add us in to the mailing list. FM also told me that during maintenance work, minimally 1 power source will be running.

Can find out who’s the POC? Also, ask when they are running the conduit between the 2 rows of racks.

For the POC, still waiting for the reply from the FM.

For the conduit, I have talk to Jonathan about it and he will email Terence and Yew Hoe to find out about the progress of the matter.
