On top of all that, configuring a new machine takes some time when your environment is customized a lot. In addition, if one happen to work in the office next to other developers, it's common to spend some time on their machine investigating some issue or doing some other task together. In this case, especially if default key bindings are changed, it might cause a lot of discomfort.
