Send from Gallery not working #538

Send from Gallery not working. WhatsApp takes me to my Photo Page and we take to My Drive.

All our workflow needs to be the same as Whatsapp.

I was unable to reproduce this error. It did not take me to any specific folder.

In my case, only file picker was opened. I myself navigated to different folders.

That is the issue.

Try to understand what the behaviour should be by using Whatsapp. When you select gallery it should take you to you photo or video folder and not some random folder.

In KiboChat, my understanding was that the filepicker should be opened when we are going to send an attachment.

This is the behavior of kibochat from day 1.

I did not know that the specific folder is required to be opened i.e. Images, Videos, Gallary.

There are many other things which we do differently from whatsapp regarding UI and UX.

If some thing is wrong from day 1 does not mean it does not need to be fixed. When we select a Gallary we should open a Gallary. Not some random file.

The whole model of KiboChat is to follow Whatsapp functionality.

I have completed the work on this and issue is corrected now. I also did the same for selecting audio and video as well.
