Figure out the product catalog and how it can be used with WhatsApp

I have explored the catalog option of WhatsApp Business. From WhatsApp Business user can create catalog manually. After adding the item WhatsApp reviews that item and then it will start showing on the profile. I have added one item on my WhatsApp business number. You can see it from my WhatsApp profile.

Now, I will explore how we can do this using Facebook shops. I will also look for WhatsApp APIs for creating catalog.

I have looked into Catalog API for WhatsApp, linking WhatsApp Business to Facebook Shops, and Catalog API for Facebook.

Catalog API for WhatsApp: I am unable to find Catalog API for WhatsApp. I think they have not rolled out such API yet.

I tried to connect the WhatsApp business account with Facebook shops but this feature is not available for us yet. It might be available for US people but it is not showing here in Pakistan. Due to this I was unable to view the user experience after connecting WhatsApp business account with Facebook page.

Catalog API for Facebook: We have looked for this previously as well. Facebook has an API for creating and managing catalog on Facebook shops. Here is API link for this: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/catalog-batch
