Design document to add tags in WhatsApp platform #10725

This task is to create a design to add tags for WhatsApp platform. We have done for messenger platform. Here, we will replicate the same experience for WhatsApp platform. The design should cover the following:

  1. Option to manage tags from WhatsApp live chat
  2. Manage tags screen under subscriptions just like we have on messenger
  3. Provide option to filter sessions by tag. This needs to be implemented in messenger chat as well
  4. Customer segmentation on the basis of tags for WhatsApp broadcast
  5. Option to view assigned tags on subscribers UI. Filter by tag and bulk assignment options should also be there.

Can we open tasks for this. I need to assign team tasks and this is important features missing in Whatsapp live chat.

We had reviewed this in of the status meeting and defer it until we review our database design and improve it with respect to omnichannel
