Apply for shopify listing #9445

After creating the whatsapp ecommerce chatbot for shopify, we will apply for shopify listing so that our app is listed on shopify store.

This is under construction. I have started to correct our previous shopify integration so that both whatsapp shopify and abandoned cart are handled by single shopify integration and not two different integrations. This will be completed today.

I have applied for the listing and our app is in review.

Shopify has asked in our app review to subscribe to GDPR webhooks in order to get listed in shopify app store. I will implement the handlers for webhooks in this task and submit our app again today.

I have corrected the icon information. It was not clear from their instruction that it should not contain any English words.

I have completed the gdpr webhooks work on this and resubmitted the app to shopify app store for listing. It is under review now.

Shopify has asked for video recording and facebook credentials to do the further review of our app. I am assigning this to @bjafri5 to create video and apply again after fulfilling all the additional requirements:

Worked on this issue today. There is still an issue occurring here: when the user tries to connect the shopify app when they're not logged, it doesn't connect the shopify integration properly. I will discuss this with @sojharo tomorrow

Discussed and fixed the above issue with @sojharo. I have made all the requested changes requested by Shopify. Assigning @sojharo to review and submit

@bjafri5 they have required additional changes that we need to do. Please see the email I have forwarded.

Baqar and I have added the additional requirements from shopify. There is one more requirement where they are saying not all products appear on messenger. We are showing only latest 10 products on messenger as messenger carousel has limit of 10. We have thought to implement pagination in our chatbot so that customer can click on see more to see other 10 products.

I am opening two issues for this.

Dependent on #10241 and #10242

After solving the two pagination dependencies, baqar and I have responded to email of shopify. This is now in review.

I went through the requirements and discussed them with @sojharo and we have replied to them. The requirements that they were asking aren't possible because they are asking for us to embed our app into Shopify dashboard, which isn't possible because we have other integrations and functionality as well that would cause problems. This is pending their response.

@sojharo @bjafri5 Please review this in one of the statuses meetings. We are a very small company and they are huge. How other customers have been able to do it. This is critical

I have checked this again. We applied to them for app listing and then we had applied to sales channel sdk so they have converted our app into draft for now and reviewing our application for sales channel sdk which they have not responded to yet.

Until they review our existing shopify app for sales channel sdk, I will ask baqar to reapply for app listing from another shopify app. so that even if we don't get sales channel sdk, we will at least have our one app listed in their directory.
