Having this same issue. Gonna fill it out myself since no one is doing anything about it.

Version: Kade Engine 1.6 - V.S. Impostor 3.01 Steps to reproduce: Literally just attempt to play any week or song. That's it. Story mode, Freeplay, optimizations on or off, character preloading on or off, difficulty, etc. Doesn't matter, happens anyway. Issue: Game will crash to desktop immediately after the cutscene is over in Story mode or immediately after selecting the song in Freeplay.
