Can't write to usb #1300

I've been trying to figure this out for 4-5 hours

Dump kernal? No problem. Flash original kernal? Yep! But when I Flash custom kernal.. I ALWAYS get this message. I tried 3 different usb cables, every usb slot in my computer, restarting my computer, I tried older versions of hakchi2, I tried so many different things. No matter what, I always get this message, and I can't ever put any games on my snes classic becasue of it. I followed several youtube guides step by step, I did everything they did exactly how they did it, and no matter what I always get that same error.

I am having the same problem. I am also unsure if I should turn the system off after I let go of the reset bar
