NES MINI MOD "SHUTTING DOWN" ERROR #1356

I am hoping someone can assist me with this error. I just bought my son a new NES Mini and went through all the instructions on how to mod. I now have a mini, that when you plug it in, you get a "shutting down" message and then it goes off. I have tried uninstalling and flashing the original kernel and nothing seems to work. I have tried many different versions of Hakchi, and still nothing.... If anyone can help, I would be more than happy to send some cash via paypal. Thanks all

I am having this exact same issue. Brand new NES Classic Mini, just bought on the latest re release, followed the steps, now shutting off every time you turn it on. Is this some thing that happens when you try to hack the new ones? HELP!

I have the same problem, I have a NES mini MOD: CLV-001 and a SuperNES Mini MOD: CLV-301 and the 2 the same thing happens with Hakchi 2.30.

Install Drivers Well, Dump the Kernel Well, Upload the custom Kernel well.

From there, every time you turn on the console in normal mode, it turns itself off, giving the message "Shutting Down" on the screen. Neither can new games be synchronized.

Entering FEL (Reset + Power) mode can restore the Original Kernel.

I tested the branch of the Hakchi2 CE v1.2.5 project and its modified kernel works (the machine does not turn off and the game selection menu appears) but the PC does not detect the machine (the red light does not turn green) and does not They can synchronize the games.

Do you know if you are working to solve this?

Yo tengo el mismo problema, tengo una NES mini MOD: CLV-001 y una SuperNES Mini MOD: CLV-301 y las 2 les pasa lo mismo con Hakchi 2.30.

Instalar Drivers Bien, Volcado del Kernel Bien, Subida del Kernel modificado bien.

A partir de ahi cada vez que enciendes la consola en modo normal se apaga sola dando en pantalla el mensaje "Shutting Down". Tampoco pueden sincronizarse nuevos juegos.

Entrando en modo FEL (Reset+Power) puede restalecerse el Kernel Original.

He probado la rama del proyecto Hakchi2 CE v1.2.5 y su kernel modificado funciona (la maquina no se apaga y aparece el menu de seleccion de juegos) pero el PC no detecta la maquina (el piloto rojo no se pone verde) y no se pueden sincronizar los juegos.

Saben si se esta trabajando para solucionar esto?

Hello

It works now. The kernel of the Hakchi2 CE 1.2.5 works perfectly.

The only problem when climbing the ROms was due to connecting the cable to the front of the tower.

Solution: Connect the USB cable behind the tower. Reason: Long distance and multiple splices can make you lose power.

Also comment that the software does not work bein in AMD Ryzen use Intel.

hmaidhoff, I was having the exact same issue. much to the detriment of my marriage. My wife was crushed that I killed her nintendo. I used the hakchi2 ce 1.2.5 that carlymx (above) recommended. It wasn't able to fix it by returning the nes mini to factory settings. it was still broken. I tried flashing the custom kernel and uploading games again, and now it works perfectly. try the hakchi2 ce and see if it works for you.
