Laptop broke #1433

My laptop bit the dust, now I made sure to back up my kernel and roms ect, but now im not sure whether I can use the latest version of hakchi to add or change my game line up or more importantly set my snes classic to factory default in case I need to change anything. So to be clear, can i just download the latest version of hackchi and synch a new play list or do I need the same version (which im not sure of) as to not brick my console....I need some expert advice, please and thank you.

hakchi2 is no longer supported. Please use the same version of hakchi2 as before to uninstall, and reinstall with hakchi2 CE (aka Hakchi 3) from https://github.com/TeamShinkansen/hakchi2/releases.
