Hi Cluster, first of all, thank you very much for this fantastic tool. You make what nintendo dont.

For me, to be hakchi2 perfect, i would need the feature of subfolders to create in example folder NES and inside a sufolder named A, another as B, another as C...

Also if we have the hability to have favorites o pointers for no duplicate roms would be fantastic, in example i want to create a Favorites Folder with Ducktales and also have Ducktales in D subfolder

Thank you very much Cluster :)

I'm not sure how to do it because it requires to have several copies of game of NES mini. NES Mini's shell doesn't like symbolic links for some reason.

Not sure how the file system works. Can you mount multiple libraries in a priority sequence? So for example mount folder 01, 02, 03 as "games" folder? If it doesn't find a file in 01 it checks 02 then 03?

If that is possible, each game could be installed in a separate folder. Then based on whatever folder they launch you would mount all the directories for those games building a dynamic mounted folder each time.

This is a duplicate of https://github.com/ClusterM/hakchi2/issues/127

Hi!

Sorry for not so fast answer. It's not very good idea to mount them on the fly. It will be slow :(

But I have one idea... I will keep it for later.

@ClusterM Thanks for thinking about this! It's a minor thing, I know, but people love to customize their game organization. :) (I had opened #129)

Would love an option in custom folder mode to automatically have pages/shortcuts to all other folders from within every folder, except within original 30 folder.

I loved the automatic sorting option: 30 original -> pages divided equally for all other games.

You start in what looks like unmodded nes but with one extra folder. Click on it and then it feels like it opens up your whole system displaying all these additional games and folders. From here you are 1-click away from anything and you always see games. You can click directly to the other folders from within any folder. No backing in and out. It's very simple. Very slick.

That same set-up would be ideal. Just with the ability to assign folder/page art, folder/page names, and games like custom mode allows.

Original 30 + "more games..." folder --(open into)--> first custom folder/page with its games displayed and shortcuts to all other folders. --(open any other folder)--> its games displayed and shortcuts to all folders. Etc.

Exactly why I liked it! It's a lot less overwhelming like that, especially for my family/friends who play the NES's I've put hakchi on.

I mostly just wanted a back button to the original 30. The other new folder options are great of course, but I'd love the past options still too.
