SNES Mini sound bug with original games #119

When using retroarch to play the original games, the sound volume is way to low. It is so low that even when the output sound is set to maximum, its not possible to hear everything.

But if you download the same games from the internet and play ithem with RetroArch, the sound is normal.

Tested and veryfied on two SNES Mini's on both Zelda - A Link to the past & Super Mario World. I assume other games have issues as well.

Note: Not all of the original games have sound problems when played through RetroArch, e.g Contra III or Castlevania.

Forgot to mention that it is with the latest RetroArch version: 1.0

I dunno if the previous version has this issue.

i have the exact same issue. with retroarch, the sound is pretty much not there for the original games. with customized games, it works perfectly fine.

I'm throwing out a big guess here, but could it be that Nintendo added some minor custom code to all of the original 21 games? And that this custom code screws up the sound (and possibly other things) in the process?

The strange thing is that this doesn't go for all of the 21 original games. So there must be something strange going on there since the bug is not present when using any other rom from the internet..

Or, are in fact the games they've added, a mix of NTSC and PAL??

(this is the european SNES - Bought from store in Norway)
