The Secret of Evermore Europe Rom Crashing #145

Hi

I have noticed that when i play the secret of evermore, European version, when you changed screen, and the music in the next screen changes there is a high chance the game will freeze and you either have to reload the game via hitting the reset button or start+select and quict retroarch and relauncah the rom.

I have only had this problem so far with this game (retorarch version 1.0c).

anything known about this issue?

Try with retroarch clover

what is Retroarch clover? how do i use it?

Which SNES 9X version are you getting, when you go into RetroArch Options?

I press start + select to get to options. I installed "retroarch_with_cores.zip" (version c) via a drag and drop.

I mean when you press select plus start, which core name is displayed at bottom of the screen?

Oh I will look when i get home and get right back to you. but from memory i think it says 9xsnes? again I will check. thank you for helping. I will get this infor to you.

So when I press start+select it says:

1.4.1 - Snes9x 2010 1.52.4 5al625. Is that the info you need?

Hi there, i have the same problem. I´ve updated my hakchi to version 2.3.0 and updated also retroarch and snes9x. The problem with the crash during the screenchange is still there. Now i have version 1.7.0-snes9X 2010 1.52.4 48eebbb I hope someone can help or maybe there is a fix for this.

Hey, i have the same problem. I installted RetroPie with SNES9x2010 on a Brix Intel x64 System. Secrect of Evermore (Ger) runs first very fine, but now at the Boss "Salabog" at the very last sequence of the Battle "Boy hold Weapon in the Air" freeze the Game, only reset works at this point.

Hope someone have a good idea or useful help, thx

To get around the issue i simple used the save game state function of the nintendo every 4 or so screens and that got me through the game. favorite game of all time. It was worth the hassle. hope it helps you as well. do not use the in game saves as it will get lost with the save game state save, Regards, Marc Ransome mortsgames@live.com 0452 271 067
