Documentation bug/confusion with snes9x snes9x2010 cores #169

I noticed one bug (or actually wrong documentation) in retroarch_with_cores.zip/snes9x.hmod and snes9x2010.hmod: the readme.txt in both tells to use the same script: /bin/snes , but actually only snes9x2010 uses it (snes9x uses /bin/snes9x).

So, if you have previously used snes9x core with /bin/snes and install both cores, you will start using snes9x2010. Is this intentional? If you only install snes9x, you would have to change all command lines from /bin/snes to /bin/snes9x.

You can alternately the Snes9x Cores in my set. They all work with /bin/snes if just one is installed. Multiples can be installed using the secondary Command Lines I added.

Thanks, your set is correct with readme.txt's in snes cores. But can I update to those cores without migrating to Hakchi2 CE? I tried updating to ClusterM's 2.30 from 2.21f, but I noticed that my save states didn't work anymore. Is it mandatory to give up your save states when upgrading Retroarch and/or cores?

My cores should work fine for you. It is the busybox that is in hakchi2.3 that will tether you to that RetroArch for now. Your prior saves are still on Nand. You should still be able to use them in some way shape or form.
