getting console.log errors for Videos and Channels not being global #294

happens when you go to videos page (/videos).

so this is a bit of a hack, but I just made Videos global again. I know this is bad practice, but we need to move youtube videos server side anyway, so this code will be re-written then anyway (that clinking sound is me loudly kicking the can down the road).
