Need to spend some time reproducing this issue and putting together a bit of data from different angles.

This ended up being related to a stupid (Imgproc/cornerSubPix gray corners (Size. 11 11) (Size. -1 -1) crit) call that threw the whole calibration completely out of whack.. now it's perfect
