In all seriousness, AI gets upgraded by building extra factories + larger teamtypes. Also more cheeky teamtypes. IE: Black hawks can have tanya + engineer so when you undeploy MCV to prevent capture, Tanya can C4 your MCV. Also, flak tracks can have Engineer + Terror drone if you undeploy MCV to put terror drone inside.

So far all testing and spectating results in the AI not massing units in base and causing lag while increasing difficulty across all levels with the checkbox enabled.

Well, I think the AI of RA2 always do cheating... AI ​​does not seem to search for enemies by "sight".

If you look at the ai of most games of this era they cheat in this way or else they don't really function.

I already use your ini file since months for skirmish battles. Former name "Extreme AI". Its fun. With this one a few bytes smaller then the old file. I have also no problems. Only one suggestion. AFAIK, the AI's vision is never obscurred by the shroud/fog of war.

IE: making gap generators VS ai is useless

One more suggestion

AIBaseSpacing is 2 in your ini

How about set it back to standard value 1. I noticed in many maps the AI is not capable of building every building because lack of building space. Especially on Island maps.

IE: making gap generators VS ai is useless

actually it is not. gap generators avoid AI to use spies and they seem unable to target new units and buildings created in the gap generator.

spy: AI stops sending spies once there is no unit outside the gap that they can mimic

buildings: AI cant target the ore refinery once the original harriers are shot down.

units: same as above, but for valuable units like prism tank etc

so basically it cant really target them far away.
