Is there a reason for copying DTA's hacks to the common directory instead of just moving DTA's hacks there? We want to avoid duplicate code when possible.

Sorry, I only noticed this comment now. IIRC you instructed me to copy them before, but moving sounds like a better idea. It's been a while since I did that change but I doubt there was any other reason behind it.
