No we have a drive where we manually create backups of the repo/cntr/other folders. It has 500GB of free diskspace currently so we could move the backup from linux to there if it's possible.
IIRC it's linked to the main server correct?
Let's go for Veem.
Task is on hold, waiting for setting up a SMB access to the backup drive

Tools Server is backed up at 3:00AM every day with a machine level backup, retention policy is 90 days.
As mentioned in R&D branch meeting of 11/02/2021 it would be nice to have backups for our existing servers.
@Shiny-CNTO mentioned that the
main
server already has a backup policy in place, could you sum it up so R&D is aware?The
tools
server currently has no backup plans and since we are going to further use it to host new services we need to implement a policy to be safe. I'd like to better understand how much room we have and where it is located, in order to setup a periodic backup that is shipped off-site or at least off of the backed up machine. Linux Veeam agent is already installed on the server and it is free of charge as long as backups are not stored on Veeam Cloud.
