Automated WP Backup Solution #22

To avoid another complete loss of the WP Database we need an automated backup solution, which not only stores the DB, but the plugin and theme contents as well.

The backups should be stored not only on the tools server but on a seperate remote infrastructure.

I've installed UpdraftPlus plugin (free version) and connected it to our Gdrive (carpenoctem.arma@gmail.com). In the main directory of our Gdrive is now a folder containing all the backups UpdraftPlus : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1w_GlE0LM-pB5LozjOHG7XJ-iggkNlurI?usp=sharing

IMPORTANT: you cannot change the folder name UpdraftPlus or else the backup solution will break!! Custom foldernames are only allowed with premium version of the plugin.

The plugin is set to backup the website once a day and keep up to 365 backups (1 year) until it start deleting old backups. If the gdrive gets too full we can lower the backup schedule to max. 6 months

This was exactly my concern, could you post the db and directory size for Wordpress as of now?
