Back in F3 and in an earlier version of @freghar 's additions mod we used to have an automated overview of the in-game platoon (F3), the assigned element (Freghar's addition) and soldier kit (F3).
What did it do?
Platoon Overview
It would show the player name of each assigned element leader (PLT, SLs, FTLs, MMG Lead etc.) and their radio channels. ShackTac uses their own tab version which doesn't show just leaders and leaves out radio channels but instead shows all players and their roles (see screenshot: https://i.postimg.cc/QtGcw2cJ/screenshot-www-youtube-com-2021-12-09-10-26-36.png ). Personally, I prefer the F3 format due to it condensing/streamlining the information to the leadership roles and thus being less problematic for JIP accuracy during an ongoing session.
Element Overview
Here you see only your group and who's playing what role. For smaller elements this is a bit redudant but for Squads, especially when augmented with Bravo members, it could be useful as DUI HUD does not differentiate between FTL and AAR symbols. However, I agree that this technically could be merged into the Platoon Overview just like ST has implemented it. It could also be ommitted entirely.
Soldier Overview
In Campaigns or playing with Custom Factions it's sometimes hard to figure out what you carry, especially if you are a beginner or more casual player since your gear is distributed among three containers and thus you have to click through and compair three separate inventory tabs. F3 had a neat feature where all the soldier gear of the player would be listed (with visual enhancements such as inventory pictures of the guns / gear) in one single screen.
This issue is not high priority at all, just wondering if we could get some of these features back into our Default Module compositions somehow without making it too "hacky" or performance intensive.
