Since the comment posted by @JamesTheClarke on Enjin is lengthy (not gonna quote it here) and involves different checks and minor things concerning fields (such as Discord), also considering it is a pure frontend issue I'd give it quite a low priority for the moment
Linking the post here for quick/easy reference: https://www.carpenoctem.co/forums/m/26081621/viewthread/33626178-transition-to-new-roster/post/139897517#p139897517
If the new roster application is to replace the enjin application form we need to cover the same features for Interviewing Team to be able to start using it with new applicants.
If that's the case (the how application would work in a mix between Roster and Enjin is still to be defined) then absolutely, I'm just saying it's not priority #1 at the moment since it's not a technical challenge and there's more pressing things to do
I fully agree that it's not priority 1 (or even 5). This was more a response to the OP: in order to successfully implement new Roster, we need to start transition process as soon as possible.
I agree with Highway that I would like to see applications handled via the new roster soonish but before we can begin with that it needs to cover the existing application form features.
"Do you have a working microphone?" is the only thing imo that can be scratched right away from the current application form since that's the first thing we notice during the interview and trial phase of the recruit.
Agreed. I have the feeling we're navigating on sight as far as deployment is concerned. Perhaps we should formalise the next steps and short/mid-term goal. @milivojm what do you think? Could be useful to have a roadmap or a plan in general?
May I suggest changing the order of the entries? For example, why is steam on the bottom and not on top? GitHub is higher then teamspeak? That sort of thing. Also, add a short explanation to Bohemia interactive nickname because if left without it will be very confusing to new players.
