error report #8

i dont know if you are still active but i have a error http://puu.sh/lXO0n/16de2c8826.jpg i do run a usb version of blender blender 2,76b the doc is called untitled.blend

Did the error occur on export? What mode was the selected object in?

te error occure on export and ist was in pose mode

now i can put the .XANIM_EXPORT in the game files ore doe i have to doe some thing extra with it to get in in mw2

.XANIM_EXPORT and .XMODEL_EXPORT need to be compiled to binary xanim and xmodel files using the mod tools / Asset Manager. AFAIK there are no mod tools since CoD 5: World at War however, which would allow you to compile the files.

so i need a Asset Manager to be able to inport compile the code? if so witch one woud you recomend for CoD4

Yeah... well, the CoD4 Mod Tools obviously. You should patch the game to 1.7, install mod tools and patch mod tools to 1.1.

You would need the CoD4, CoD5, or BO1 mod tools depending on which game you are modding (Ensure that both the game and the mod tools are at the most recent patch). You then have to open Asset Manager and set up your model and then run Converter.

Hey @SE2Dev! I kinda feel sorry that I never reviewed your code. It's just that work life caught me (didn't have a real student life during my entire degree) and in the meanwhile the interest in modding for Call of Duty declined a lot I suppose. We should do a proper release of your version still... Are there any open TODOs?

No problem! I haven't gotten around to making a proper TODO lately - and happened to find a few bugs while working on some stuff. The most recent bug fixes I did haven't been committed yet though because the code is a complete mess and I need to clean it up a bit first. You can see most of what I've done in the development branch though.

i am using it for mw2 but it is voor a online thing and than the official way we work is maya -> CoD4 but i dont have maya so i want to use blender and after that a frend can bring it from cod4 to mw2
