Hello all,
We need to some suggestions to fix a problem with cBathy bathymetries obtained using data from SGS station at Senigallia (Central Adriatic Sea, Italy).
We are finding a quite good result around the zone of the first submerged bar (rather nearshore) while we get an anomalous shallow flat area towards offshore and far from the cameras.
The debug analysis gives good estimate of frequencies and clear phase maps (so, consequently, an appropriated estimate of wavenumber). These results are also in agreement with observations from timestacks or orthorectified image. The strange aspect of the problem is that, in a large part of the domain, the estimated bathymetry is incorrect in comparison with the survey data. We observe that the estimated wavelength is smaller than we expect using the linear theory.
We analysed also the influence of lens distortion, camera resolution and tide elevation without significant improvements.
Below there are an estimated bathymetry, the comparison between measured and calculated profiles and an example of timestack in correspondence of section 5.
