revert breaking keepalive changes #300

reverted due to it being apparently breaking (refer to #nacho-support in discord)

If this gets merged, @Outfluencer, could you please look into fixing this and also making it toggleable? I do agree that it’s a useful PR, but it’s evidently breaking some things (evident as shown in Discord).

Thanks! Working on a different approach for keepalive in the fix/keepalive branch.
