Accidently hit enter and apparently I am unable to edit the issue. So here's
the data:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Assign Button 'Left' to G13-key #38 (Joystick left)
2. View some text (e.g. in an editor) and move the joystick left

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The cursor should just step one character to the left. However, it seems to do
a random leap instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Kubuntu 11.04

Works much better now. Jumping still happens sometimes, but almost
imperceptible.
