Hepta Labs joined Filecoin as an SP starting in 2021. In order to comply with Filecoin's plan to store the most important data of humanity, we transformed our business. We have gone through the preparatory phase and contacted nearly 20 SPs. Most expressed willingness to collaborate on our important data storage plan.

LIC This is the license that we have. The sps who will store our data for the next round are f02827151;f02827694;f01926635 based in mainland China. As for the retrieval rate, I have asked SPS, and they all stored unsealed files and supported retrieval. However, we are just one step away with the spark. suppose this round they will figure out and fix it.

it might occur during the data processing and distribution phase, some deviations are normal. you can see we almost evenly distribute copies to different SPs. Appreciate your understanding.

Hi @yhkp , The retrieval rate is still low. Have your sps not connected to Spark yet? What is the specific reason? Do you have any related plans?

Hello @CockroachBoss , we have contacted the SPs and confirmed that these SPs are trying their best and have been connected to the Spark program, but for some reason, some of their nodes cannot display the retrieval rate. As far as I understand, they need to import the corresponding encapsulated subject database by themselves. Please correct me if I am wrong. But the good news is that we are in contact with another team that develops retrieve tools. We are testing the connection with this tool, and the results show that our SPs can basically be retrieved. So, please be patient and wait for a moment. Thank you

Hello @CockroachBoss

This is the outcome of our discussion with the Spark team. After our confirmation, we have determined that a portion of our storage providers (SPs) use the Lotus miner with a bundled package that includes the Market component. Spark and IPNI technicians indicated that they are currently unable to verify the retrieval rate for such SPs, as shown in the screenshot.

This situation exemplifies the “Single Standard Bias.” This bias occurs when an evaluation is based solely on one criterion, ignoring other relevant facts or standards, leading to the denial or misunderstanding of the facts. This can result in unfair assessments and decisions. We hope for your understanding that changing the packaging process for SPs is not a simple task.

We are currently pursuing the following approaches:

1.  Seeking more SPs that use the Boost program for collaboration;
2.  Waiting for the SPs with their own Market systems to develop and upgrade their IPNI components to integrate with the Spark program (this will become evident after the v23 upgrade);
3.  Some companies are developing new retrieval tools which, to my knowledge, have higher coverage. We will also use these tools to provide evidence when available.
