Project SDWebImage could not parse recent releases' documentation #580

Are you making an issue for CocoaDocs the service?

Answer: YES

Are you here to write a "my pod CHANGELOG/README" isn't updating on https://cocoapods.org/pod/[MyPod]?

Answer: This step does not solve the problem. The output is {"parsing":true} but still can't generate the documentation

Are you here to write a "my pod XXX" isn't showing on CocoaDocs?

Here's some first steps:

Answer: The URL is correct and it show 404 error page for recent releases.

Answer: We use Appledoc to generate the docset and it works without any issue.

Answer: Click the button and wait for 10 minutes does not solve the problem.(Acutally this siutation take a month)

Answer: The output is {"message":"Could not find any errors, perhaps CocoaDocs has not ran the processing?", "trace" :[]}

Answer: Checked and do the step above. Does not solve the problem.

If all of this fails, check for existing issues: https://github.com/CocoaPods/cocoadocs.org/issues?utf8=✓&q=is%3Aissue%20docs%20 Finally, if there's nothing specific to your problem, delete this template and start your issue. :+1:

The project SDWebImage could not generate their recent release including 4.2.0, 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.3. We try the steps from the issue template and the cocoadocs developer page. But it all failed. The docset still show the old version 4.1.2 and the new version's URL response 404 pages.

After trying redeploy, error and status.json, we all failed to find the reason. The output list above.

And we also try to run Appledoc from the local git repo and it generate the correct documentation. So maybe there is not the issue about the documentation itself.

Could you please help us to find the reason and then generate the correct docset ? Thanks :)

After run the cocoadocs server by my own, it can successfully parse the docset. Here is the output:

➜  cocoadocs.org git:(master) bundle exec ./cocoadocs.rb preview SDWebImage

 Looking at SDWebImage master

 > Git download
appledoc version: 2.2.1 (build 1333)

Found 143 for Tests
* [docs] - http://cocoadocs.org/docsets/SDWebImage/4.2.3/
Preview: "/Users/lizhuoli/Documents/GitHub/cocoadocs.org/activity/docsets/SDWebImage/"

The preview documentation web page looks good. So I wonder this issue may not about SDWebImage project itself. Could anyone provide the help ?

@dreampiggy I think cocoapods cloud stack has some problems. Cocoa docs doesn't work anymore. Even it fails for my sdk also.
