tvOS is a new platform variant of iOS #93

updated to remove references to iOS classes or deprecated methods that are not available on tvOS 9.0

changes to podspec are based on the cocoapods changes that are currently in their tvos-support branches

hmmm not sure why that unit test would fail - not sure I've changed anything related to file access

@tbrannam It was a sporadically failing unit test for a different component than you changed. So it's good to merge I think.
