The linking does work (silly me clicked the upper half of the altar and got nothing from it)
The Problem with putting more of the same kind into the hopper without the items being used up from your inventory (or switched with the one processing) persists even with a working grinder
The Grinding Hopper is when placed and linked (at least accoring to description, i get no feedback if it worked) not doing anything when fed Ores, however, if i place one ore on it and then hold another of the same kind, i can rightclick on the Grinding Hopper and "feed" it more ores,
they don't get substracted from my inventory but bet added to the Grinding Hopper's inventory,
when i break the hopper i get all the ores inside of the hopper, effectively giving an invite supply of ores as i can just go on replicating this to infinity
