Deploy at least one marquee project in BMPA #7

My initial thought was to get VolunteerHub out the door. But the more I think about it, I think this project should have more of a social justice outlook. Something like a better way to get info about home heating assitance or somesuch.

I'll try opening a discussion on what this project should be at our next meeting.

Per Kitty's notes in an email that went past:

  1. Heat Maine (connecting people who can't afford heat with those who can provide the service, and making a clear path for generous people to help those in need)
  2. Feed Maine (coordinating to get food banks in touch with those who need the food, and get the food banks in touch with local farms, and make a clear path for generous people to buy & donate food for these entities)--introduced at Civic Hack Day
  3. Snow Plow Tracker app--Civic Hack Day project
  4. Social Service coordination (helping find all of the groups that currently provide services for Mainers in need, working with them to a) get the word out b) streamline the process to actually get services to those who need them, and maybe c) make an easy to access online database for all of these services).

I believe the snow plow idea is being persued as a private app with monetization. But the other social projects are good ideas.
