I've written this new hacker page with the following goals in mind.
explain what civic tech is and what Codefornewark does
have a condense explanation of Git and Github and why we use them in our organizations
walk through popular text editors and show new members good choices for editors
have a survey at the end to collect new member demographic information as well as ways to improve the process of on boarding a new hacker
be an automated process to onboard new hackers which requires minimal intervention from more experienced members of the group
I have more additions I would like to add such as clean up the layout of the page and include more screenshots to clear up parts which may confuse less technically experienced members as well as images.
