[Bug] Hangs at end of the game if high scores service unavailable #33

Describe the bug I'm seeing a bug when I'm not running a highscores service. The game hangs on time expiration.

To Reproduce Play the game until the expiration time

Expected behavior TBD - but maybe something like display a "highscores unavailable" warning maybe cache the highscore to send asynchronously later
