Thanks for submitting! This is your very last group milestone and submission in this course. We hope you've found this program to be a challenging but enjoyable experience. The group project you've worked on over the past few weeks will be an excellent portfolio piece going forward.
We strongly encourage your team to continue building on the progress you've made and continue working together to get this app into a state that allows you to publish the app onto the Play Store and see if you can recruit a few users from your friends and family.
The farther you push this group project with your team, the more you'll be able to learn about building Android apps in the wild. In our final session, we are going to be holding an internal demo day so every team can present their app to the rest of the class. More details soon!
:+1: Nice work so far on the group project. Your team has made great progress in this last week. Hope you are proud of what you each have been able to learn in ~6 weeks time since the start of the course.
Consider taking actions on the review comments and please create milestones for each of your sprint. Also, make sure that the tasks are equally distributed and assigned to the respective team members.
Good to see you have tasks/issues being worked on actively. Please consider regularly updating your readme file so everyone has a better idea of what's left to do.
Good work implementing the core flows. You guys have made great progress in sprint 2 and it seems like most of your application logic is in place.
Try to challenge yourself on the UI/visual side of things in the coming days. Not necessarily flashy things, but it's the small details that take a lot of work.
Consult with your mentors to get their feedback as often as you can. Remember they are here to help!
While working on polishing your app for next sprint, please review the practical project design guide and the polishing UIs guide we put together and remember that your app should follow the android design guidelines.
Be sure to benchmark your app on sites such as android app patterns to improve the UI/UX by interactions and visuals that work from other apps. If you have an Android device, download highly rated apps for inspiration.
Take the time this week to clean up and polish your app. Generally, most of these tasks are small and easy, but go a long way in making an impact on how your app will get perceived. I would also encourage you to start thinking about coming up with a clear user flow for the demo day. It is the apps with the clearest and most appealing story that gains the attention on demo day. Excited to see your progress next week!
