Objective

Define what forms of value users currently bring and or get to the platform.

Background

At the risk of sounding like a business major 😆 , we need to clearly define the platform's value propositions. These are the key reasons as to why users use the platform.

I think this is an important step before committing resources. It's simply a question of should this be done given volunteer resources.

An alternative is to gather requirements from actual use of the current system and design a replacement to encompass those requirements plus the additional features that are desired. In other words, consider not using Froide as the platform. Think of the essential functionality of what a website must do to help citizens make information requests and allows the information to be searched for by other citizens or whatever the requirements must be.
