In order to clearly document that we operate with the consent of our users, we need to log the signup interaction, including the text of the confirmation. We also need to keep that for some period of time (max 4 years for statute of limitations, but should be ok to store maybe a few months so we can easily demonstrate that we do operate the way we claim).
