When individual defendants lack a stable cell phone or other means to contact them, an day center like AHOPE can be a good alternative. In this case, rather than receive text messages for individual clients, the agency should receive a weekly email with a list of all clients with court dates in the near future.

This requires some separate backend processes and a separate agency-specific signup page with some basic protection to prevent random people from signing them up.
