Class Prep (1 hour)

  1. Plot concerns on a Circles of Influence chart (from Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People)
  2. Prepare to give a talk in the session

Ideas for Class Exercises (1 hour)

  1. Circle of control exercise (pairs? Group?) / the Circles of influence?
  2. Public speaking exercise/game
  3. Spreadsheet for the group work (4 people per group for the next module).

Ideas for Coursework (150 minutes)

  1. Giving feedback on your groups' CV
  2. Write a short text with the top 3 tips you learned so far about CV
  3. Watch the "Power Pose" TED talk (optional)

Removed 3. Retrospective of the module (check with Tech Syllabus if this won't be a separate block in the end of the day) . should be part of the day plan, not PD

After discussing with Sally, I am removing the power pose Ted Talk of our coursework, since it is a bit doubtful with the whole science pro/con, not proven side.

I have amended the class content a bit too, to reflect that this should be used if it works for the individual.
