Context As part of our launch module we want students practicing how to demo their work in short, clear presentations.

The goal of the presentation is to help stakeholders (usually other students and TAs) understand the goals of their launch project and any progress they've made.

What is the purpose of this assignment?

• Demonstrate the incremental progress towards your goal to all your stakeholders* (other teams, users, volunteers)
• Share learnings and gather feedback from other people facing similar challenges to you
• Practice feeling comfortable speaking in front of larger groups

How to submit

• Create a copy of this deck
• Update the content on each slide wherever you see
• Keep the content short (and sweet!)
• Decide what you can demo - it’s great if this is something visual, like frontend changes, but it can also be something technical, e.g. “this is how we set up the database”
• Decide who will speak - it’s important everyone in the team takes a turn
• Practice! Your update should take no longer than 5 minutes
