Consider OTF conversion instead of TTF conversion (or the option) #46

Windows seems to prefer OTF fonts to TTF fonts.

When I download a font as TTF using TypeRip and install it in Windows 10, it becomes available in SOME of the programs on my system. If I take the same TTF font and run it through a TTF to OTF converter, installing the OTF file on the same computer makes the font available in ALL of the programs on my system. Additionally, when importing OTF, the font seems to be available in all programs without needing to close and re-open, whereas TTF requires a close/re-open to occur.

I know this isn't really an "issue" with the program, but it would be nice to not have to take that extra step of converting to OTF every time I download and install a font.

Exactly my same problem, natively when downloading from TypeRip almost none of my pro apps recognize the fonts ( ALL Adobe apps, Davinci Resolve etc...) Ill try your solution ( TTF to OTF ) hope it works...this is a great feature but there is this little bug.
