1 year ago Decision: In our working group meetup at 2023-03-27 we opted to not show the markers, but only show the number of users for the current viewport (see #26 ), because this doesn't reveal to much data. People shouldn't be able to contact / talk to each other at LeipzigGiesst. If they want to, they should create a watering event as decribed in #15
Current state: I can't see directly where other watering people are. Only when filtering after "watered in last 30 days" or directly click though the trees and look at this list of waterings gives a slight idea, that you're not alone.
Motivation: See directly, that there are other people in neighborhood registered at LeipzigGiesst.
Future state: There are makers for user on the map either their home position (either when they have shared their address) or the triangulation of the positions of their watered trees. There should be an opt-in checkbox at user profile to explicitly allow to show their home position on the map.
