@ineagu how will those be applied? we can't have templates for this. Should we add options in customizer (checkboxes for the new templates ) ?

we can have a customizer setting for the blog layout, for the single post I htink since 4.7 you can have templates as well.

ok, @claudiuvertistudio for now let's add a checkbox in Customize -> Theme Options http://prntscr.com/d1o6nv called "Alternative layout" that will change the homepage design
